What a hell is an URPMI repository?

Urpmi is what the Mandrake distribution uses to automatically satisfy rpm package dependencies making installing rpm's much easier.

You can install not only local packages, there are a lot of internet repositories (like this one) with a lot of fun stuff.

For add this source type the right code in a console session and for install a package just give urpmi the name of the package you want and it will install it, taking packages either from cdrom, ftp or local repository of rpms.

If you think this is difficult try rpmdrake, the Mandrake configuration utility located in the Control center

These packages are compiled in my Cooker box but these are ready for Mandrake 9.1 Mandrake 9.2 and Cooker.

Im trying to package a lot of useful KDE apps for newbie Linux Users not commonly included in the major distros.

For add this repository to your URPMI sources please add the next code in a console as ROOT
