This system is built on top of the Web Site Maintenance package, and won't work without it. It consists of the following extra files:

weblog.write

We start with writing a welog article. I've structured my weblog so that all articles written on the same day are included in one static html file. We start by copying the template file to the weblog file. weblog.write script
