Home of TermPkg- The Poor Man's Terminal Server
Termpkg is a package to build a terminal server on most Unix platforms. It works with both
real serial ports and also psuedo tttys for cases where you want to connect to other programs
like you would a serial device through the telnet protocol (This is good for simulations).
Some of it's features include:
- ttyd daemon for accessing remote serial ports with existing programs.
- Control port to remotely monitor and control connections.
- Client and Server are both telnet compatible.
- Optional UUCP Style device locking.
- Getty friendly.
- Client supports changing the baudrate, and port settings on the fly.
- Client support chat like scripting capability.
- Highly Configurable.
- One to one socket to serial port mapping.
- One to many socket to serial port mapping (Round robin port selection).
- Many to one socket to serial port mapping (Multiple port configurations
for each serial device based on socket).
- Configurable serial port parameters.
